Multi-skilled Shift Engineer - Heat and Power
c£30,000 to £36,000 + benefits
We are currently seeking to recruit a Multi-skilled Engineer / Maintenance Technician, to operate & maintain combined Heat & Power services within a Manufacturing Environment. Our client is seeking an O&M Engineer, to join a shift site team ensuring safe & continuous operation of the 24/7 manufacturing plant.
As a Multi-skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned maintenance & breakdown repairs on the plant
- Maintaining Health & Safety standards at all times
- Plant modifications & improvements
- Maintenance activities associated with Plant shutdowns
To be considered for this role, you must have proven engineering skills, including Mechanical & Electrical maintenance. Those with experience working in the Food, Beverage or Pharmaceutical sector are highly desirable. Experience working on Steam plant (CHP) and associated equipment would be advantageous.
The package on offer for this role includes a starting salary of £30,864 (working a 2 shift/5 day pattern), rising to £38,086 (working a 3 shift/7 day pattern), plus pension and holidays. This role is commutable from Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, etc.
