We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Multi-skilled Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Service Technician, to carry out a range of PPM and reactive maintenance activities on a range of process plant equipment. Our client is a leading organisation within the renewable energy sector, with the opportunity for a Maintenance Technician / Engineer to join their team based in the Bridgwater area.
As a Multi-skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Mechanical and electrical maintenance on large process plant - pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, etc.
- Planned maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance
- Fault finding & diagnostics
- Following health & safety procedures
- Ensuring records are correctly updated and maintained
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this position, you should have a relevant engineering qualification (Apprenticeship/NVQ/or similar) and experience carrying out maintenance on a variety of equipment (pumps, motors, valves, etc.). Ideally you will be 17th Edition certified and have a good understanding of health & safety.
The package on offer for this opportunity includes a salary in the range of £25,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience), plus pension, holidays and healthcare.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading company within the waste management and renewable energy sector, working Mon-Fri based on a 42.5hr working week.
