Job Title - Site Supervisor - MRF
Location - South London
Salary - £35,000 - £38,000 DOE
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with one of the UK's leading resource management, recycling, and energy recovery companies as a MRF Supervisor on their South West London facility.
About the Role
As MRF supervisor you will be responsible for the operation on a day to day basis within the company operational procedures. You will ensure that the company fully complies within all legislation for the disposal of waste products and meets all compliance.
As MRF Supervisor your role responsibilities will include but not be limited too;
- To supervise the day-to-day operation of the MRF, reporting to the Senior Operations Manager ensuring the site is legally compliant with environmental legislation
- Manage the process of received waste.
- Ensure compliance with current health, safety and environmental legislation, particularly for the disposal of waste products.
- Maintain plant, equipment and vehicles.
- Internal and external communication and documentation.
The Ideal Candidate
As the ideal candidate you will have previous supervisory experience and waste industry knowledge. You will have an operational background including vehicle, plant and mechanical equipment. You will have a strong knowledge of environmental, health and safety and waste legislation and an IOSH is desirable. You will have a full drivers license and understand Site Permit and working plans.
