Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
We are currently recruiting a Mobile Plant Technician to join the operations department of a 24/7 Anaerobic Digestion process plant in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. This new station, using proven technology, will produce electrical power from waste that would otherwise have gone to landfill.
Energy from waste is one of the fastest growing sectors in the UK's power industry offering highly secure & lengthy careers. With commissioning about to begin there couldn't be a better time to join this company at the very start of this exciting project.
Responsibilities... Reporting to the Plant Manager the Mobile Plant Technician will be responsible for: The safe & efficient operation of the plant. Monitoring the daily safety & environmental performance of the plant ensuring it is operating in accordance with environmental parameters & legislation. Helping with the site safety systems. Monitoring plant performance & developing new ideas & measures in order to improve performance, reliability & efficiency.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience... To be considered for this position you will need to have a front end loader/shovel licence. A background in anaerobic digestion, agricultural or water sector or operations experience within a relevant industry (waste management, heavy process) would be very advantageous.
This is a double day shift role & salary is £35,000 including shift allowance plus benefits
