MEP Quantity Surveyor

Contract 6 - 12 months

£350 per day

**Interview date 11/12th August**

We are currently recruiting for an MEP Quantity Surveyor for an Pharmaceutical Project in Stevenage. To be considered for this position the applicant must have experience in a similar position with a good knowledge and experience of Mechanical, Electrical and Process Engineering. This role will be site based where you will be required to carry out all operation from a site cabin.

Reporting to the Commercial Director the MEP Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for;

  • Manage/monitor/report on all commercial aspects of projects
  • Attend handover meeting to receive project from estimating dept.
  • Manage and produce/take off Bill of Quantity's
  • Providing advice on contractual claims
  • Various other Commercial activities

The Ideal Candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or Equivalent and experience in Mechanical, Electrical and Process Engineering. To hold Charted Status would be highly desirable. An individual with a good Commercial Awareness and experience of working on Pharmaceutical or Clean Room environments would be ideal, however, other industry knowledge like - Energy from Waste, Biomass, CCGT or other Power Construction Projects would be an advantage.
