Brief Description of Role & Responsibilities
MEICA commissioning role within the LiMA framework specifically covering clean water projects. Must have recognised water commissioning experience within the United Utilities water sector, must electrical technical and qualifications to enable being appointed as LV AP.
Role to include close liaison with site delivery teams and UU operational and project delivery. To be electrical biased / competent as role will require being appointed as electrical AP. To be proficient with documentation creation and completion in line with both LiMA and UU standards, be self-driven to ensure the LiMA 'Design to Commissioning' philosophy is promoted and delivered. To have a clear vision of project commissioning and handover requirements, to self-manage the completion of the associated deliverables.
To assist with the management of specialist sub-contractors, specifically surrounding control / ICA and software. To provide technical assistance to project site team and to be recognised as the testing & commissioning accountable point of contact.
To assist with the O&M manual development & asset registration systems.
Reporting to project manager & LiMA commissioning manager
- Experience - 5 years
- Planning / document development
- Clean water - on site analytical instrument
- Dirty water - sampling
- Sludge - site lab analytical
- Electrical biased (recognised technical qualifications) - SCADA / data recording
- Mechanical biased - operations
- ICA biased - maintenance
- MCC - specialised
- SCADA / PLC / control - document control, data / report recording
- Qualifications - CSCS, confined space, electrical, first aid, EUSR water hygiene
Must be available for weekend working. Must be experienced in United Utilities project delivery procedures. Role will be site based, multi project, therefore own transport is essential (expense remuneration). Will be part of LiMA site operations team.
