Mechanical Installations Supervisor - Buildings
Contract - 12 mths
£ Neg P/M
We are recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor for a facilities service and solution provider who have a global reach. The role consists of supervising mechanical installation works around the HVAC, drainage and plumbing packages across public buildings.
Candidates would report to the Project Manager and would be further responsible for:
- Supervision of other work activities as would fall in with their skill set
- Becoming involved in the installation themselves where and when required
- Overseeing mechanical testing and commissioning of appropriate systems within their remit
- Delivering Toolbox talks and safety briefs as appropriate
It is essential that the candidate has demonstrable experience of delivering district heating type projects within the Schools, Hospitals, Prisons environment. Furthermore, you should have demonstrable experience of mechanical installation and commissioning on these sites, experience of working within a permit orientated environment, be prepared to work on rota for long periods away from the UK in sometimes austere environments.
