Mechanical Site Supervisor
6 Month Contract
ASAP Start
Up to £28 Per Hour, Limited Company Rate

Our Client offers a range of services to its Clients including design, manufacturing and installation.

We are looking to recruit a Mechanical Site Supervisor to work on a London based project.


  • Management of staff and subcontractors working on site
  • Planning the work efficiently to meet the agreed deadlines
  • Amending Method Statements and Risk Assessments due to site changes and ensuring compliance by all personnel on site
  • Undertaking briefings with site personnel including toolbox talks
  • Overall responsibility for health and safety of those under your direct control, including accident reporting and undertaking any investigations
  • Controlling project expenditure costs to maximise profitability and productivity
  • Organising the labour requirements for site
  • Ordering materials and ensuring the correct materials are on site when required
  • Adhering to all defined systems and processes
  • Proactively managing the impact on and protection of the environment
  • Responsible for updating relevant site documentation
  • Recording and reporting additional work on priced jobs for invoicing
  • Monitoring and inspecting the quality of work
  • Carrying out installation works, assisting with testing and commissioning of installations
  • Interpretation of site drawings and project information
  • Liaising with Clients and Contractors as required

Essential Knowledge and Experience:

  • Highly experienced Mechanical Supervisor with experience of working on several large-scale construction projects
  • Considerable experience of working within the UK Waste Water industry, Sewage Treatment and Sludge Powered Energy Recovery is essential for this role
  • Advanced IT skills with a strong understanding of using MS Office packages including Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Strong Health and Safety background with experience of producing Method Statements and Risk Assessments
  • CSCS
  • Good Client engagement and communication skills
