Manufacturing Engineer NPI Electronics


£40,000 + Benefits

Our client is a leading designer & manufacturer of bespoke electro-mechanical technology for use in a wide range of industries.

They sell their products globally & house their Research & Development, Manufacturing & Product Marketing team in Southampton, Hampshire.

They need to recruit a new Manufacturing Engineer to join the NPI team, an ideal opportunity for someone to contribute towards the implementation of a full range of new product through the full development lifecycle at a time when they're bringing key new products into volume production.

This is a key role with responsibility for day to day support to production as well as driving continuous improvement. You will also influence the design of New Product as an integral member of the cross functional NPI team., ensuring that volumes are met & that manufacturability is maximised.

What you'll need for this position! 5 years + experience of manufacturing support, including taking a lead role in projects ideally in a high-tech manufacturing industry, & the ability to demonstrate delivery of lean manufacturing or six sigma. You should also ideally have a degree level of engineering qualification or equivalent experience.

Additional helpful but non-essential experience! Experience in complex component manufacturing & modern manufacturing methodologies.

Salary from £35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience, plus good benefits package.
