Manufacturing Engineer - High Tech Electronics
Southampton, Hampshire
A high-tech Electronic Product Manufacturer in Southampton, Hampshire, require a Product Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer who can take a technical lead in the manufacturing team to support production in diagnosing disruptions & failures to root cause as part of a multidisciplinary team.
As a lead within the manufacturing engineering team you will also identify & lead corrective actions to help improve production output & reduce cost.
Your background will ideally be in optical fibre manufacturing&/or associated processes in high technology manufacturing including analogue & digital control electronics. You should be able to demonstrate the ability to gather & analyse data regarding design & manufacturing capability.
You should also have strong interpersonal skills combined with a degree level education in engineering or equivalent work experience. Familiarity with SQL query writing or SPC monitoring would be advantageous.
The role is based in Southampton, Hampshire, close to the M27 Motorway, & easily commutable from locations such as Fareham, Portsmouth & Winchester. Remuneration is likely to be in the region of c£35,000 plus good benefits.
