Maintenance Technician - Waste Management

c£30,000 - Night shift


We are currently seeking to recruit a Maintenance Technician / Mechanical Technician / Service Engineer, to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a waste management site in the Leicester area. Our Client is a leading organisation in the Waste Management sector, with a requirement for a Night Shift Maintenance Technician to join their Operations & Maintenance department.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out planned & reactive maintenance on the plant
  • Maintenance on a range of heavy process plant (conveyors, pumps, motors, etc.)
  • Day to day engineering procedures
  • General maintenance tasks
  • Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times

To be considered for this position, you should have a relevant mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 2 minimum, Time served Apprenticeship, etc.) and have experience working in a similar industry (heavy process / waste management). Ex-forces personnel will also be considered.
