Maintenance Technician - Renewable Energy
Up to £40,000 DoE + Benefits
We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Technician / Service Technician / Plant Technician, to carry out a range of planned & reactive maintenance on a food waste processing plant based in the Nottingham area. Our client is a leading organisation within the renewable energy industry, with the opportunity to join their maintenance team.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Planned & reactive maintenance on a range of heavy industrial equipment & process plant (pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors etc.)
- Maximising operations & efficiency of the plant
- Ensuring adherence with health, safety & environmental standards across site
- Reporting to the management team on plant performance
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have proven experience in a similar Maintenance / Service Technician role, with a background working in an industrial process environment such as food waste processing, anaerobic digestion (AD), wastewater, chemical etc. You will also need to hold a relevant mechanical engineering qualification (apprenticeship / HND / HNC / NVQ / City & Guild etc.), along with possessing electrical skills.
