Maintenance Technician - Renewable Energy

£27,000 (shift based)


We are currently seeking to recruit a Maintenance Technician / Multi Skilled Engineer / Mechanical Technician, to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a 24/7 process site in the Leicester area. Our Client is a leading organisation in the Waste Management sector, with a requirement for a days-based Maintenance Technician to join their Operations & Maintenance department.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out planned & reactive maintenance on the plant
  • Maintenance on a range of heavy process plant (pumps, motors, etc.)
  • Day to day engineering procedures
  • General maintenance tasks
  • Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times

To be considered for this position, you should have a relevant Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 min, Time served Apprenticeship, etc.) and have experience working in a similar industry (heavy process / waste management / renewable energy / chemical). Ex-forces personnel will also be considered.

The package on offer includes a salary c£27,000, plus company benefits. This is a permanent position working on a 4 on, 4 off, day-shift basis.
