Our client, a leading company working within the renewable energy sector, currently require a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer / Service Engineer / Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role will be working on a process plant in the Leicester area and you'll be tasked with performing maintenance and day-to-day operations duties on site.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance on all plant, which will involve working with mechanical and electrical equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyor systems, compressors etc.. Other duties will include performing day to day engineering procedures, as well as ensuring health & safety procedures are adhered to.
In order to be considered for this position, you will need to have a relevant mechanical engineering / electrical engineering qualification (NVQ level 2 minimum). You'll also need to have proven experience in a maintenance / service engineer role, working with heavy process plant (pumps, conveyors, motors etc.).
This position will be working on a 4 on / 4 off 12-hour days and nights shift pattern. They're offering a competitive salary of up to £31,000 plus company benefits.
