Maintenance Technician - Power Generation
£30,000 - £35,000

We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Technician / Multi skilled Technician / Electrical Technician / Mechanical Technician / Service Technician, to carry out planned & reactive maintenance at a new Gasification Power Station based in Plymouth. Our client has Operational & Maintenance responsibility for the site, with the requirement for a Multi skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Planned & preventative maintenance on various equipment including pumps, motors, conveyors, boilers, steam turbines, gasifiers, etc.
  • Fault finding, troubleshooting
  • Health & safety
  • Ensuring maximum availability
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this role, you must have experience working as a Maintenance Technician within a similar industry (Power Generation, Biomass, Energy from Waste, Gasification, etc.). You must have relevant Engineering qualifications (Electrical, Mechanical, Apprenticeship) and a strong understanding of steam systems and boilers.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved at the commissioning stage of the plant.

The package on offer for this role includes a basic salary up to £35,000 (depending on experience) plus benefits including overtime, call out, etc. This is a days based role.
