Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Electrical
Our Client is one of the UK's leading provider of Environmental solutions, offering a full range of Waste and Energy Recovery services through a vast and growing network of Plants and Facilities across the country. As such they are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join one of their established plants in the West Lancashire area.
What you will be doing
As Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance
- Electrical fault-finding & diagnostics
- Maintenance on PLCs, motors, conveyors, etc.
- Testing and inspection
- Minimising downtime, ensuring plant runs at optimum performance
- Working as part of a shift pattern
- Other duties as required.
What you will need
To be considered for this position, you must have relevant Electrical qualifications (Time-served Apprenticeship, C&G, 17th Edition, etc.) with a NVQ Level 3 as a minimum. You should have experience working in a heavy process environment (ideally waste management, power generation, industrial plant etc.) and a working knowledge of maintenance practices including electrical fault-finding on PLCs. Those with an ex-forces background will also be considered.
