Maintenance Technician (Boilers)

£31,000 to £33,000 plus benefits & vehicle.

We're currently seeking to recruit a field based multi skilled maintenance engineer to join a small team of technicians charged with the delivery of site services & utilities including steam & water plant.

You will carry out PPM on steam boiler / steam systems, chillers, air compressors & water hygiene equipment etc assisting where necessary with carrying out electrical & mechanical maintenance tasks, both planned & reactive whilst conforming to site H&S rules & procedures.

To be considered you should be appropriately qualified with maintenance experience working with pumps, valves, compressors, heat exchangers, boilers, mechanical seals & pressure equipment. Computer literacy & a can-do attitude are essential. The client will consider service leavers ex-navy or marine engineers for this role so long as they have the appropriate technical knowledge.

The package on offer to the successful applicant will be competitive for the industry paying £31,000 to £33,000 plus vehicle. As the site will run 24 hours a day it is important you can easily drive / commute to site & you will be on call on a 1 in 4 rota.

Hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday with an on-call rota, as there are some statutory checks that need to be carried out at the weekend.

This role is a field-based role located in several locations around Bristol & Bath etc
