Our client is the UK's leading renewable energy solution provider in their green energy sector & they are currently seeking to employ a Maintenance Technician ( Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer or multi skilled) to join a team carrying out mechanical & electrical maintenance on a process plant.
As part of a small friendly team, you will maintain, service & repair motors, gearboxes, engines, pumps, water plant etc in a safe & efficient manner.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in working on heavy plant, power generation plant, reciprocating engines, turbines, or other process plant such as power plant or water treatment plant. With a mechanical or electrical engineering qualification to HNC level or similar experience you will ideally possess a good knowledge of Planned & Preventive Maintenance. Experience gained on marine engineering systems (for example in the Royal Navy) may also be suitable.
The successful candidate will receive a salary in the range £30,000 up to £34,000 along with benefits including a company pension scheme.
Driving licence required due to rural location of site just outside Basingstoke. This role is commutable from Winchester, Andover, Fleet, Farnborough, Southampton etc.
