Maintenance Support Engineer

Contract - 3 Month

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Support Engineer for the Asset Management Department on a Coal Power station that is looking to close down middle of next year. This role is suited for a Mechanical Bias Support Engineer to assist with performance efficiency through engineering and maintenance strategies. The Support Engineer will have to demonstrate extensive knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and have a practical background of Process Plant Equipment.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the Support Engineer will be responsible for;

  • Coordination and Management of drawings, modifications and improvements
  • Maintenance of plant machinery
  • Provide technician support to Ops and Maintenance teams
  • Communicating urgent problems and development to Technical Engineers

The successful candidate will need to be HNC or Degree level qualified in Mechanical Engineering with experience in a similar position. Maintenance experience on a Power Station will be a distinct advantage ideally on a Coal Station.
