Maintenance Supervisor - Quarrying

We are recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor to join a business that provides Electrical and Mechanical Services to the Quarrying/ Aggregates industries. This is a contract position initially expected to last approximately 3 months with potential to go on longer.


The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing a small team of Maintenance Engineers/ Technicians/ Fitters conducting maintenance on typical quarry plant including, but not limited to, conveyors, crushers and screeners etc. In particular, this person will be appointed under section 8.1 of the Quarry Regulations 1999 and therefor will be the responsible person for managing health and safety on site.


To be considered for this role candidates MUST have a background in quarrying and have previously been designated under regulation 8.1.


This role will require the successful candidate to work unsociable hours Monday to Saturday. The rate is negotiable and expenses (accommodation and travel) may be covered for those interested from outside of the area.
