Maintenance Manager - Power Generation
£45,000 - £50,000 plus benefits

We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Manager, to manage and provide maintenance support at a new Gasification Power Station based in Plymouth. Our client is responsible for safe & efficient operation & maintenance of the site, with the requirement for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join their team.

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a team of Technicians to ensure maximum availability and efficiency of the plant
  • Overseeing maintenance contractors on site
  • PPM schedules / maintenance procedures
  • Reviewing and updating the CMMS
  • Overseeing the commissioning of the plant
  • Staff training & recruitment
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have experience in a Maintenance Manager position within a similar industry (Power Generation, Biomass, Energy from Waste, Gasification, etc.). You should have relevant engineering qualifications (Electrical / Mechanical), plus in-depth understanding of health & safety regulations and safe systems of work. Steam experience is essential.

The package on offer for this position includes an attractive salary up to £50,000 (depending on experience) plus great company benefits.
