We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Manager to join the management team of a 24/7 process plant in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. This new station, using proven technology, will produce electrical power from waste that would otherwise have gone to landfill.
Energy from waste is one of the fastest growing sectors in the UK's power industry offering highly secure & lengthy careers. Recently commissioned with a 25 plus year life span, there couldn't be a better time to join this company at the very start of this exciting project.
Responsibilities... Reporting to the Plant Manager the Maintenance Manager will be responsible for: The safe & efficient maintenance of the plant. Ensuring the daily safety & environmental performance of the plant & ensuring it is operating in accordance with environmental parameters & legislation. Helping with the site safety systems. Ensuring plant performance & developing new ideas & measures in order to improve performance, reliability & efficiency.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience... To be considered for this position you will need to have a recognised HND or degree in Engineering or Process Operations. A background in maintenance within a relevant industry (heavy process, energy from waste, power generation, gasification) is essential. Candidates from CCGT, coal & biomass power stations will also be considered as will those with an ex-forces background.
This is a days based role & salary is in the range up to £50,000 to £60,000 plus benefits (details to be discussed at offer stage)
