Maintenance Engineer (Shift)

c£31,000 including shift allowance


Our client, a leading company in the growing recycling & waste management sector require a multi skilled electrically qualified maintenance technician / shift Maintenance Engineer to help drive electrical & mechanical maintenance activities on an industrial process plant.

Your varied duties will include responding to plant breakdowns in a timely manner & planning & executing site PPM to maximise pant availability & production. You will also work closely with the Engineering Supervisor to plan daily engineering activities taking responsibility for day to day engineering functions, whilst continuing an excellent H&S record.

You will need a relevant Electrical &/or mechanical qualification (Apprenticeship / ONC/ HNC / NVQ level 3) combined with hands on reactive & planned maintenance experience on a range of heavy process plant such as pumps, motors, engines, water treatment plant, propulsion equipment etc, combined with good written & verbal communication skills.

This is an interesting opportunity to enter the Waste Management & Recycling sector, & training will be provided for the successful applicant.

Salary to c£31,000 including shift plus pension, working a rotating pattern including days & nights (4 on 4 off).
