Maintenance Engineer - Process Plant
Up to £38,000 (D.O.E) plus van, overtime, benefits
Chelmsford, Essex - Field Based
We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Maintenance Technician, to carry out a range of planned & reactive maintenance on three process plants based in Chelmsford and the surrounding area. Our client is a leading organisation within the renewable energy industry, with the opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Planned & reactive maintenance on a range of heavy industrial equipment (pumps, motors, gearboxes, etc.)
- Maximising operations & efficiency of the plant
- PPMs, optimising plant down time and overhauls
- Ensuring all documents are kept up to date
- Maintaining health, safety & environmental standards across site
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this opportunity, you should ideally have experience within an industrial environment (processing plant, water treatment, power generation, waste management etc.). You must have a relevant engineering qualification (apprenticeship, HNC, HND, NVQ, City & Guilds etc.) and ideally be multi-skilled.
The package on offer for this opportunity includes an attractive basic salary up to £38,000 depending on experience, plus benefits including overtime and a company van. You must be eligible to work in the UK and hold a full & valid driving licence, as you will be covering multiple sites in Chelmsford and the surrounding area.
