Maintenance Supervisor - Biomass Facility


Salary up to £40,000


We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor to join the Operations & Maintenance department of a 3.4MW Biomass plant, located just outside Bedford.

Roles and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Plant Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the day to day maintenance activities
  • Planning maintenance works as part of a PPM schedule
  • Providing maintenance support to the Operations Team
  • Assisting with plant inspections, fault finding and adjustments of plant and equipment
  • Forming part of call out rota for our of hours support

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
To be considered for the Shift Operator position you must have:

  • Relevant working experience from a process/engineering environment
  • Electrical or Mechanical qualifications such as a City and Guilds or NVQ
  • Knowledge and experience to carry out maintenance as and when required
  • Steam Raising experience would be beneficial
