Lead Quantity Surveyor - Civils


Contract 6/12 months - Up to £500 per day DOE

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor for an ongoing project based at Sellafield. The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will have had experience of running large packages of work on a high value project, with demonstrable success on previous civil construction projects. The role will also involve Claims Management for all aspects of the project so experience in this area is essential. In this lead role, you will have the confidence and ability to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong track record at senior level in civil or structural projects
  • NEC3 contract experience from contractor side
  • Claims management experience
  • Post qualification construction experience with a main contractor
  • Detailed knowledge of preparing cost value reconciliations and presenting same to management
  • Extensive experience managing a number of sub contractors on a large construction project
  • BSc or higher in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Chartered status with RICS or CIOB
  • Sellafield delivery knowledge would be advantageous
