Experienced Lead Quality Engineer sought by leading construction organisation in the Major Infrastructure / Wind Farm part of the renewable energy sector for their well-established sites across the UK & overseas. This is an excellent opportunity to implement a QMS (based on ISO9001-2015) within a Wind Farm development project & with great career prospects.
We are looking for a Lead Quality Engineer / Quality Manager who will deliver the quality control program across all packages of work under your control. This will include responsibility for a budget of c£7m as well as coordination of work of about 20 Quality Engineers & Inspectors. You will ensure measures are in place for an auditable trail for a c2£Bn project.
To be considered you will ideally have several years' experience with Quality Engineering/Management with individual responsibility for at least one major project. You should also have a professional registration through the Chartered Quality Institute or an Engineering discipline management qualification. You must be experienced in formulating budgets & resource plans for senior management review. Inspection / experience with welding or coating would be advantageous.
The financial package on offer for this role is very attractive in a range of £40,000 to £55,000k plus, 15% pension contribution, bonus & a strong benefits package. Location, Swindon.
