Lead Maintenance Engineer - Waste Management
Location - Brighton/Lewes
Salary - 35,000 + Bonus/Benefits

We are currently seeking a multi-skilled Lead Maintenance Engineer to manage a team of Maintenance Engineers across two recycling facilities in Brighton within Waste Management sector. Our client is a leading name in the Renewable Energy industry.

Your responsibilities as Lead Maintenance Engineer/Technician will include:

  • Managing the day to day maintenance of all plant and equipment.
  • Management of VES CMMS.
  • Implementing PPM requirements.
  • Enforcing and abiding by all Health & Safety procedures.
  • Overseeing the coordination of planned breakdowns and overhauls within the target guidelines and policies.
  • Manging and controlling maintenance subcontractors.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A background in heavy plant maintenance, preferably in the waste and recycling sector.
  • An understanding of PLC systems (SCADA, HMI, DCS etc.).
  • Low voltage power systems knowledge.
  • Strong people and planning management skills.
  • Good IT understanding.
  • HNC/ONC or equivalent in Engineering.

This position requires you to travel between two facilities within the Brighton area so you will need a full UK driving licence, a company car will be provided. The role is offering a salary of £35,000 plus bonus opportunities and other company benefits.
