We are currently recruiting a Lab Technician to join the operations department of a 24/7 waste treatment plant in Middlesbrough, Yorkshire. This new station, using proven technology, such as Anaerobic Digestion, will produce electrical power from waste.

Responsibilities... Reporting to the Sites Operations Manager the Lab technician will be responsible for overseeing testing & operational lab activities across a large industry process site, providing technical advice & support to operational staff regarding processing of waste & supporting the site with the inspection, sample & analysis of various chemicals.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience... To be considered for this position you will need to have a scientific & laboratory background combined with a good level of education to degree level (biochemistry or chemistry preferred) or similar work experience. Previous experience in waste management or power generation would be very advantageous.

There is a salary from £24,000 to £28,000 plus benefits with this role
