Lab Technician

Up to £27k DoE + Benefits

Milton Keynes

We're currently seeking a Lab Technician / Laboratory Technician to work on a state-of-the-art waste treatment process plant based in the Milton Keynes area. You'll be responsible for carrying out sampling, preparation & analysis activities on the gases, liquids & solids on site.

As Lab Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out accurate, safe & efficient sampling of the gases, liquids & solids on site.
  • Conducting sample preparation, testing & analysis within the laboratory.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety & Quality requirements at all time.
  • Providing reports on results & findings to the management teams as required.
  • Completing work to required deadlines.
  • Other duties as required.

In order to be considered for the role, you should have proven experience in a similar Lab Technician / Laboratory Technician position and hold a relevant Chemistry qualification (minimum A-Level, although degree level would be ideal). A background working within a process sector such as Waste Management, Water Treatment, Food or similar would also be ideal.
