New Build Energy from Waste Power Station
£30,000 - £35,000 + benefits

Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
We are currently recruiting a Lab Technician to join the operations department of a 24/7 waste treatment plant in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. This new station, using 3 different types of proven technology, such as Anaerobic Digestion, will produce electrical power from waste that would otherwise have gone to landfill.

Energy from waste is one of the fastest growing sectors in the UK's power industry offering highly secure & lengthy careers. A brand new facility, there couldn't be a better time to join this company at the very start of this exciting project.

Responsibilities... Reporting to the Sites Operations Manager the Lab technician will be responsible for overseeing testing & operational lab activities across 3 sites , providing technical advice & support to operational staff regarding processing of waste & supporting the site with the inspection, sample & analysis of various chemicals.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience... To be considered for this position you will need to have a scientific & laboratory background combined with a good level of education to degree level or similar work experience. Previous experience in waste management or power generation would be very advantageous.

There is a salary from £30,000 to £35,000 plus benefits with this role
