Junior Customer Technical Support Adviser
c£20,000 + training + bonus
I am currently recruiting for a Junior technical support adviser for a leading UK manufacturer of Solar PV components. My client has offices around the UK and also in Germany and South Africa.
The role is to provide added-value to the customers by providing pre-sales and post-sales Technical Support. This requires a full understanding of the technical applications of the product portfolio, the requirements of their customers and UK regulations and guidance.
The role will include fault-finding, solving problems and must be a team player who will share knowledge with their colleagues, and help translate it to our customers. You should also have sensitivity to our relationships with key manufacturers. They will need to be thorough and have good organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Telephone technical support to customers
- Full documentation of call details on the Customer Management system
- Help with queries relating to firmware/communication/settings/fault finding/troubleshooting
- On-going development of product/industry/regulatory knowledge
To be considered for this role, a basic knowledge of Solar PV systems or equipment would be an advantage and a good electrical knowledge is essential.
