HV Cable Engineer
Up to £55,000 plus bonus, pension, etc.
London or Swindon based (extensive UK/European travel)
We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced HV Cable Engineer, to join the engineering team within the Offshore Wind sector. Our client is a leading organisation within the renewable energy industry, with the opportunity for an experienced HV Cable Engineer to join their team based from either London or Swindon.
As a HV Cable Engineer, you are responsible for:
- Providing technical support across the portfolio of offshore projects and in project developments
- Providing regular technical and progress reports
- Design of HV systems and supporting R&D
- Cable size calculations and verification of designs
- Investigating failures and giving technical support through cable installations
- Commissioning and installation support on site
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this position, you should have an Electrical Engineering degree with experience working within the offshore industry (Renewable Energy, Offshore Wind, Oil & Gas, Utilities). You must understand offshore cable installation methodologies and be up to date with current Health & Safety legislation and CDM regulations.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established and expanding business within the Offshore Wind sector. Regular travel is required across the UK / Europe with expenses paid.
The package on offer for this role includes an attractive basic salary in the range of £45,000 - £55,000, plus fantastic company benefits including up to 15% bonus, up to 15% pension, life insurance, family medical, holidays, etc.
