Our Client is a provider of high tech facilities and large-scale projects in a range of industries and has experience of delivering design, engineering and construction resources for these projects.

We are looking to recruit a High Voltage Electrical Engineer with experience in design and commissioning of high voltage systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Synchronisation of 11KV generators and 132KV grid connections alongside the associated protection relays
  • Commissioning high voltage systems
  • Directly interfacing with local utility companies to facilitate requirements related to the above.

Essential Knowledge and Experience:

  • Previous experience of commissioning HV electrical systems consisting of generators and grid connections
  • Experience of acting as the direct interface with utility companies to facilitate requirements with the utility company
  • CSCS Card
  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience of working within Energy from Waste or Power Generation
  • IOSH / NEBOSH accreditation (Desirable)
  • Experience with High Voltage transformers and switch gears
  • Experience with Control Systems
