Job Description

HSQE Advisor - Waste Management

Salary £35-40,000

Location - Winchester

We are currently seeking an experienced Heath, Safety, Environmental and Quality Advisor to work within the Waste Management sector on a recycling facility. You will be working for a lead player in the waste management industry who operate various sites around the UK.

  • You will be responsible for monitoring and leading the environmental, health and safety activities on site. You will also be expected to ensure all sites comply with legal obligations and manage the Quality Management System for waste solutions.
  • Ideally, you will have an IOSH/NEBOSH Diploma or similar and an environmental qualification, experience in the recycling/waste management industry, leadership skills, a full driving licence and possess a good knowledge of EA policies/legislations. You will also be experienced in ISO 14001, dealing with the EA and local authority planning requirements.

This position is based in the area of Winchester however you will be required to travel to other sites in Hampshire and Oxfordshire when necessary.
