Health & Safety Adviser - Heavy Industry

Derby

£42,000

Our client, an innovative provider of renewable energy, require a QHSE Advisor / Health & Safety Advisor to lead professional safety, environmental & quality for a large industrial site, ensuring risks are effectively identified, managed & monitored.

Your duties will include adding value to the plant by coaching managers & employees to engage in sound QHSE working practises & identify areas of improvement on site. You will be responsible for front line QHSE matters on site.

You will need a NEBOSH certificate, with experience of CDM regs plus a strong practical understanding of relevant UK Health, Safety & Environmental legislation, preferably in a regulated industry such as waste management or heavy manufacturing. Qualified to degree level or equivalent experience you should also be able to implement & manage ISO9001& ISO 14001.

This is an opportunity to join the fast expanding renewable energy sector.

This role carries a salary to £42,000 plus pension etc.
