Job Title - Head of Quality, Compliance and Risk

Salary - £70,000 - £75,000 plus Car

Location - Rochester (National)

The Role

Our Client is one of the UK's leading providers of Environmental solutions, offering a full range of Waste and Energy Recovery services through a vast and growing network of Plants and Facilities across the country. They pride themselves in transforming what we as a nation tend to discard into a valuable resource. As such they are looking for a Head of Quality, Compliance and Risk to be based in the South East with nationwide travel.

Role Responsibilities

As Head of Quality, Compliance and Risk you will be responsible for leading and developing the evolution and management of the organisation's quality, compliance and risk frameworks driving common approaches to risk identification, classification and assessment appropriate to the commodities market.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will support the processing facilities within area's of data management and analysis plus the Commercial team on driving feedstock quality improvement to secure consistent input specifications.
As Head of Quality, Compliance and Risk you will periodically review the organisation's appetite to trading risk and amend policy and associated measures accordingly identifying critical business processes and business activities requirements to ensure risks are minimised. You will maintain effective audit, governance and validation for quality and risk measurement to demonstrate full compliance to the relevant frameworks.

The Ideal Candidate

As the ideal candidate you will have an understanding and full working knowledge with modern approaches to quality, risk and compliance including enterprise risk approaches. You will have knowledge of project management requirements and techniques and exception business and commercial acumen. You will have proven successful experience within a similar role ideally within the waste and recycling industry plus Lead Auditing certification within all relevant ISO standards.
