We are currently recruiting a Head of Engineering / Operations & Maintenance Manager to join a busy & expanding company operating in the Biomass & Renewable energy sector.
Responsibilities... Reporting to the Site Director, the Head of Engineering will be responsible & accountable for Biomass & Process Site Maintenance, Engineering, Operations & Projects as well as having a level of financial & budgetary responsibility. As part of the Management Team you will influence business decisions & planning as well as holding overall responsibility for site management. You will manage operational performance in the pursuit of maximisation of output & best H&S practise.
Skills and Experience... To be considered for this position you will need to have proven leadership & management skills, being able to optimise team performance & development. You must be able to demonstrate a firm understanding of all aspects of the Heat & Power Industries & necessary interfaces. In addition, you should hold a professional qualification in Engineering, & be commercially astute combined with proven experience of Planned Preventative & Reactive Maintenance. The ability to manage budgets very advantageous.
There is a salary on offer in the range c£45,000 to c£50,000 plus pension, 25 days holiday etc. & the opportunity to join the Green Energy sector.
This role is commutable from Ruthin, Denbighshire, North Wales & current driving licence preferred.
