Grounds Maintenance Worker
Sundon, Bedfordshire

I am seeking an Operative to complete a large amount of Ground Maintenance work on a site in Sundon, Bedfordshire. All applicants must be of able to complete manual labour.

Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Site Manager, as Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for:

  • General Maintenance such as; Grass Cutting, Hedge Trimming, Clearing the area.
  • Construction Work if required.
  • Erect and Dismantle equipment.
  • Horticultural Activities.
  • Painting and Drainage Work.
  • Undertake Equipment Checks.
  • Operate Light Plant and Power Tools.

Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

  • COSHH Certification or Health and Safety Certification of some kind.
  • Good Understanding of Health and Safety around residential sites.
  • MUST hold a Full Driving Licence.
  • General Experience of Grounds Maintenance.
  • Experience operating Light Plant and Power Tools.
  • Experience of Horticulture Operations such as; Planting, Pruning and seeding.

Rate & Contract Length

  • £20 per hour
  • Initially a month Contract.
