Grid Regulation Manager (Offshore focus)

£45,000 plus benefits & pension


Our client, an innovative provider of renewable energy in the growing offshore Wind Farm power generation sector require a Grid Development Manager to identify external regulatory influences that will impact on business, specifically in relation to Grid Regulation with an offshore focus.

Your varied duties will include:

  • Establishing the opportunities from proposed external changes.
  • Focus on network charges & access arrangements.
  • Support Asset Management with TNUoS forecasts.
  • Develop reporting for management/board regarding influences & changes.
  • Propose & report on mitigation of changes.
  • Engaging with stakeholders, both internal & external, to influence regulatory change.

You will need to be a commercial / strategic planning business professional, with broad experience managing regulatory & grid issues, including transmission access, Transmission Network Use of System charges & a good understanding of a complex regulatory system. You should be able to work independently, & have the aptitude to bring together data from a variety of sources to support a strategic argument.

Full, clean driving licence required as some travel will be part of the role.
