We are currently seeking to recruit a degree qualified Mechanical Engineer / Engineering Graduate to become responsible for scheduling & tracking Planned & Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on a large Power Plant in the Greenwich area. Our client is a leading player in the powergen sector, & this opportunity is for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join their team based on the Jubilee line in London.
As an engineer responsible for the operational planning of maintenance activities, you will be responsible for:
- Using the CMMS System (Computerised Maintenance Management System)
- Supporting Maintenance activities on power Generation plant (steam systems, boilers, gas turbines etc)
- Monthly & weekly reporting of activities to the Maintenance Manager
- Supporting Maintenance & Operations teams as required
To be considered for this position, you must be degree qualified in mechanical engineering (or equivalent experience) & any work experience in the energy sector / power generation sector, process or related industrial environment would be very advantageous. Knowledge of technologies related to steam, boilers, gas turbines would be ideal plus strong numeracy & report writing skills required. You must be flexible regarding travel into central London. A full UK driving licence is essential, as is the right to work in the UK.
The package on offer for this position includes an attractive base salary in the range of c£26,000 plus company benefits including pension etc.
