Our client, a power sector / energy organisation who maintain & operate power plants around the UK, are currently seeking to recruit a Graduate Operations Engineer who has an electrical engineering background to assist running, inspecting & maintaining HV operational plant.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering & working alongside Operations & Maintenance Engineers you will conduct routine visits to sites in support of site teams, attend breakdowns, & undertake minor mechanical & electrical works, with basic fault finding. You will also immediately train to be a Competent Person under safety rules.

You should have a degree in electrical engineering & have an understanding of High Voltage (HV) electrical generation &/or distribution systems, including control systems. You should be a good team player with strong interpersonal skills.

This role will normally be based in Coventry but will involve UK travel to existing & new build sites, hence it will be necessary to hold a driving licence.

Salary £25,000 plus non-contributory pension, life cover & company car & up to 10% bonus.
