General Manager (Chemicals)

Leeds

£60000 plus 20% bonus, car or car allowance & good benefits package including pension, health & life assurance.

Our client, a leading hazardous waste management company require a Site Manager / General Manager with a chemicals or chemistry background to manage their chemical waste treatment plant handling a bespoke solvent recovery service near Leeds.

To be considered for this position you must have good man management skills to lead a busy team, including Maintenance, Production & Laboratory Managers, previous P&L experience, high volume production & a H&S qualification. In addition, good knowledge of the chemistry / chemical engineering involved in treatment processes & a background in treatment plant supervision is required.

Experience at a top tier COMAH site would be very advantageous.

This is a great opportunity to grow within a large organisation that actively develop their staff & support their progression.

Very competitive salary from £50,000 to £60,000 plus great benefits package including 20% bonus, car or car allowance, pension, health & life assurance.

This role is near Leeds & is commutable from Doncaster, Goole, Selby etc
