Field Service Engineer - Biogas Inspections
£35,000 to £45,000 DoE plus company vehicle, bonus etc.
Our client is a leading provider of insurance & safety inspections to the Biogas power generation, manufacturing, heavy industry and related sectors. They currently have a vacancy for an experienced maintenance technician or field service engineer, who will be part of the company engineering surveying & inspection team, working across sites in Norfolk & surrounding regions.
Working from home, you will be tasked with conducting PSSR (Pressure Systems Safety Regulations), LOLER (Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regs & LEV COSHH (Local Exhaust Ventilation) inspections & surveying. This will entail visual inspection & using digital measuring tools, gauges etc in a wide variety of sites using anything from forklifts to boilers. A hands-on role, you will be provided with tools & PPE/uniform etc
Applications are invited from mechanical, electrical or multi skilled technicians, preferably apprentice trained or HNC etc, with proven competence of working with industrial utility plant. Good people skills with the ability to work as a team are essential; IT literacy would also be very advantageous. Experience with inspection & surveying would be very advantageous although appropriate training will be provided to the successful candidate on Inspection or Surveying. Experience with PSSR, LOLER.
You may come from the marine, petrochemical or power generation sectors.
The package on offer to the successful applicant is worth a salary in the region of £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience plus a company vehicle, pension, bonus, medical insurance & tools etc. A driving licence is essential.
