Field Service Engineer
Salary - £30,000 - £34,000 DOE + Benefits
We are currently seeking a Field Service / Maintenance Engineer for to carry out installation and commissioning on plant equipment in the renewable energy sector. This is a field service role based from Sheffield, with regular travel across the UK and some European travel. Our client is a leading organisation within the renewables sector providing advanced solutions to plants internationally.
Your responsibilities as a Service Engineer will include:
- Maintenance & repair on plant
- Installing & commissioning relevant equipment
- Programming & fault finding on PLCs (Siemens)
- Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are adhered to
- Liaising with customers & clients etc.
- Travelling to customer sites
- Other duties as required
The ideal applicant will have a relevant Engineering qualification (apprenticeship, HNC, HND, etc.) with experience carrying out maintenance on heavy industrial plant. You should have a good knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley etc.) and be flexible with travelling throughout the North of England and Europe. A full and clean UK driving licence is essential.
