Field Service Engineer

£30-32k + company vehicle

Permanent, Full Time

Field based - Covering Bridgwater to Gloucester

Our client, a leading company working within the energy and power generation sector, currently require a Field Service Engineer / Mobile Technician / Maintenance Technician to their team. You will be responsible for the service and maintenance of steam plant, boiler and associated utilities plant.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be tasked with maintaining and repairing plant and machinery which will include steam turbines, steam generation equipment, boiler plant, as well as feed water systems and pumps. You will also be responsible for carrying out fault diagnosis on electrical LV control and power circuits.

In order to be considered for this position, you will need to have a relevant mechanical engineering / electrical engineering qualification (HNC / HND / apprenticeship etc.). You'll also need proven experience in a Maintenance / Field Service role, working with steam plant and industrial boilers.

This is a field service role, covering sites from Bridgwater up to Gloucester, so you will need to hold a full UK driving licence. You will also be required to work as part of a call out rota.
