Environmental Manager / Compliance - Renewable Energy
Up to £40,000 plus benefits
We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Environmental Compliance Manager / Environment Manager / Compliance Manager, to ensure environmental and regulatory compliance throughout a Renewable Energy focused business. Our client is a specialist within the brewery industry, with a Renewable Energy processing plant based in the Ipswich area.
As the Environmental Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring Plant operations are carried out in a safe, efficient and compliant manner
- Implementing & maintaining ISO 14001, ISO 9001, etc.
- Ensuring environmental compliance (Transport, Logistics, Operations & Maintenance) at all times
- EA Permitting / liaising with the Environment Agency
- Identifying new developments that could affect business operations
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have experience working within an Environment Manager / Compliance Manager type position within the anaerobic digestion, waste management, food processing or waste water industry. Ideally you will have an Engineering/Scientific degree, plus a relevant Environmental qualification. This is a permanent position based local to Ipswich, Suffolk.
The package on offer for this opportunity includes an attractive basic salary in the range up to £40,000 (depending on experience), plus company benefits including pension, holidays, and relocation assistance for the right person.
