We are currently seeking to recruit an Environmental Manager / Quality Systems Manager / Compliance Manager, to ensure that AD & CHP plant operations are carried out in a safe & environmentally compliant manner on a state-of-the-art 24/7 process plant, which provides renewable power & heat. Our client is a well-established manufacturer with cutting edge plant.
As the Environmental / Assistant Quality Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Ensure that operations achieve compliance to existing standards.
- Continuous improvement in company HSEQ performance
- Support management in achieving & maintaining compliance with Environmental legislation.
- Back up Head of Quality Systems, ensuring compliance with all health & safety & legal requirements.
- Be main point of contact for Environment Agency.
To be considered for this position, you should have experience of operation of ISO 14000, ISO 9001 etc, have experience of management people & compliance standards, have a graduate level qualification in Chemistry, Biology or similar combined with current & relevant work experience in a related sector.
This is a permanent position based in the Ipswich area; due to the location of the plant you will need a full UK driving licence to access the site. Working 5 days a week, Monday to Friday & a 37.5 hour week.
The package on offer for this position includes a basic salary in the range of c£40,000 plus company benefits.
