Environmental Compliance Manager - Renewable Energy

£35,000 - £40,000 plus benefits

West Sussex

We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Environmental Compliance Manager / Head of Compliance, to ensure environmental and regulatory compliance throughout the business. Our client is a specialist within the Renewable Energy sector, with a strong focus on the Anaerobic Digestion industry.

As the Environmental Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Implementing & maintaining ISO 14001
  • Ensuring environmental compliance (Transport, Logistics, Operations & Maintenance) at all times
  • EA Permitting
  • Writing & implementing standard operating procedures to ensure sites are operating within all permits & environmental regulation
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have experience working within a Compliance Manager type position within the Environmental industry (Anaerobic digestion, waste management, etc.). Ideally you will have an Engineering/Scientific degree, plus a relevant Environmental qualification. This is a permanent position based on their main site in the West Sussex area.

The package on offer for this opportunity includes an attractive basic salary in the range of £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience), plus company benefits including car allowance, pension, etc.
