The role itself
Reporting to the Plant Manager and Operations Manager the purpose of the role is to take responsibility for the engineering and maintenance functions on site, managing the team's workload and prioritising in order of importance. Working closely with management you will be tasked with improving the PPM and the inspection programme in order to minimise downtime and will work with the team to keep a record of potential faults and problems before they become an issue.

To be considered for this role the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate significant engineering experience in a similar sector, be it Waste, Quarrying, agricultural, manufacturing or process engineer, combined with a relevant mechanical / electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 minimum, Time served Apprenticeship, etc.)
